This rare American illustrated Edition comes complete with Artist's Preface and one of the most lovely bookplates we have ever seen which reads "May blessings be upon the head of Cadmus, the Phoenicians or whoever it was that invented books". Inscribed inside front cover by the original owner. Strongly suspect this has only had one previous owner since 1931.
Condition: Some foxing and tanning to cover especially spine. Minor scuffing to edges. Tanning to edges of pages.
