1943 First revised Penguin Edition. Printed for the fist time in Penguin during WW2 and full of wartime advertisements. Printed on thin paper due to the paper shortages of the time. Contains pencil annotations indicating where the aircraft was spotted by the original owner, most likely during the war. A fascinating and unique piece of social history.
Condition: Very well worn with creased and tanned pages. The back cover and last page are completely detached and the spine is missing. Parts missing from the front cover. This book has seen a lot and is completely wonderful.
