Here is a book we have never seen before and, in fact, did not know existed until now - Noel Streatfeild's autobiography in the form of a delightful novel, illustrated by the wonderful Shirley Hughes no less. What a treasure!
Condition: Some scuffing to edges. Small tear at base of spine. Two small tears to the bottom of two pages inside. Some minor foxing. Puffin bookplate pasted inside with original owner's name and a reference to page 41 which has a mysteriously marked passage.
