1943 First Penguin Edition. Printed for the fist time in Penguin during WW2. Contains several advertisements. Incredibly rare. This likely helped somebody through a very difficult time. Fascinating piece of social history.

Condition: Very old tape holding the cover on. Pages slightly tanned and foxed but a lot less than you might expect for a book of this age that has been through so much. Spine very faded and worn. Some minor tears.
